LRSSR-14DD0612 DC Output Solid State Relay

The LRSSR-14DD0612 is a compact solid state relay with an aluminum housing and MOSFET output for switching DC loads. It features a non-polarized 5–24 VDC control input, optocoupler isolation and a green LED operating indicator.

1. Which model should I choose?

Choose LRSSR-14DA2405 for AC loads within 12–240 VAC and 0.13–5 A, or LRSSR-14DD0612 for DC loads within 2–60 VDC and 0.01–12 A. Apply the load-current safety factors and temperature derating specified in the datasheet.

2. Does the control input require a specific polarity?

No. Both models use a non-polarized 5–24 VDC control input at terminals 1 and 5. This applies only to the control input. For LRSSR-14DD0612, follow the DC output polarity markings: terminal 3 (+) and terminal 4 (−), and connect the load as shown in the wiring diagram.

3. Is derating required at high ambient temperatures?

Yes. Follow the switching-current versus ambient-temperature curve for the selected model. Also observe the datasheet load-current safety factors and provide sufficient installation clearance and ventilation.
